Rules, Policies, & Pre-Event Information

If you’re exhibiting at an upcoming event, please review the guidelines below and the Exhibitor Planning Guide provided by your show organizer. These resources outline important requirements, safety rules, and building policies that apply to all exhibitors.

Before your event, be sure to:

  • Begin planning your booth well in advance

  • Review the Exhibitor’s Planning Guide sent after registration

  • Familiarize yourself with convention center policies and rules

  • Book hotel accommodations early

  • Confirm licensing, permits, and compliance needs

Licensing & Compliance

Required Permits & Regulatory Information

Exhibitors are responsible for securing all necessary documentation prior to the event.

All exhibitors must have any licenses and permits required by:

  • The State of Washington

  • The City of Kennewick

  • Kennewick Fire Department

  • Benton–Franklin Health Department

How We Support Exhibitors During the Event

The Three Rivers Convention Center provides several services that may be available for exhibitors during planning, setup, and event hours. These services help maintain the flow of the event, ensure compliance with building policies, and support exhibitors while they operate within the venue.

Event Management

An assigned Event Manager assists with planning, policies, staff coordination, and billing, and remains on site for the duration of the event.

Room Setup Support

Convention Center staff assist event organizers with room configuration and setup needs as outlined in the event arrangements.

Audio Visual & Technical Services

On-site technology staff provide AV assistance as required by the event’s contracted services.

Electrical & Communications

Electrical and telecom services may be available for events. Availability and specifications are based on the event’s arrangements.

Equipment Rental

Event organizers may arrange for tables, chairs, and other equipment rentals as part of their event plans.

Food & Beverage Service

Catering and concessions are provided exclusively by the Convention Center per building policy.

Custodial Support

Custodial services are provided according to the event’s schedule and requirements.

Wheelchair Access

Wheelchair-accessible routes and facility features are available throughout the building.
