Calvin Dudney
Calvin Dudney retired in 2019 from Hanford as the Director of Motor Carrier Services and has been on the Board of Directors for the Three Rivers Convention Center since its conception 24 years ago.
During his time at Hanford Calvin became a volunteer coordinator, spending almost every Saturday for 28 months helping build the Hospice House in Kennewick. He also spearheaded United Way campaigns during that time, reaching 86 percent participation from the Building Trades craft. These two projects helped cement his love for volunteerism and it soon became an important aspect of his life.
Calvin has been involved in countless community projects; his biggest satisfaction has come from his involvement in the Three Rivers Convention Center. Some of the other projects Calvin has worked on include: the develop¬ment of the Master Gardeners Demonstration Garden; landscaping at the Children’s Developmental Center; helping the Water Follies get their own facility; and graduating from Leadership Tri-Cities Class IV. Calvin was named Tri-Citian of the Year in 2005, a testament to his community dedication.

Kim Shugart
Kim Shugart is a long-time resident of the Tri-Cities and a recently retired professional in the tourism and marketing industry. Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Washington University and in her last role as the Senior Vice President at Visit Tri-Cities, she was responsible for providing leadership in all aspects of tourism development for the Tri-Cities and the surrounding region, including convention and sports sales, media outreach, wine tourism, product development, and marketing. Her previous leadership roles included managing the Tri-Cities Rivershore Enhancement Council, where she developed the Tri-Cities Rivershore Master Plan and the Tri-Cities Regional Wayfinding Plan. In her role as the manager of the Tri-City Hotel-Motel Commission, she oversaw financial reporting to both the city and hospitality partners, in addition to preparing the Tri-Cities Sports Facility Feasibility Study.

Ron Hue
Ron Hue is a Kennewick native. He and his wife still reside within the city, which is where they raised their family.
Ron has more than 40 years of experience in the local banking and credit union industry and is now retired. He continues active memberships in the Tri Cities Water Follies, Tri Cities Cancer Center, Columbia Center Rotary, and Trios fundraising. Ron is also on the Board of Directors for Visit Tri Cities.
Ron is a born and bred “Kennewickian” whose vision is to see pragmatic, diverse, and enhanced economic growth in Kennewick that will enrich the lives of all Tri Cities citizens. He believes that the expansion of the Convention Center along with the development of the Vista Field Entertainment District will continue to stimulate and grow our local economy, as well as improve the quality of life for those who reside within the Tri-Cities region.

Reneé Brooks
Reneé Brooks is a native Tri-Citian, born in Pasco and raised in Kennewick. She received a Bachelor of Political Science from Pepperdine University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. Reneé returned home to the Tri-Cities in 2004. She serves as a Senior Communications Specialist with Mission Support Alliance and has a strong background in communications, public relations, and government affairs.
Reneé is active in the community and serves on the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation Board and volunteers with many non-profit organizations. She is also a member of the Tri-Cities Legislative Council. Reneé joined the Kennewick Public Facilities District in 2017 because she believes in the power of economic growth and development to help strengthen our community. Reneé understands the value of public facilities in enhancing our quality of life.

Austin Crawford
Austin was born and raised in the Tri-Cities and is a graduate of Kamiakin High School. He is a former collegiate athlete, with a Bachelor of Science from Central Washington University in Construction Management. Currently, Austin is a licensed broker with Kiemle Hagood with a focus on commercial leasing, sale, and new development.

VenuWorks & the Kennewick Public Facilities District
In September 2003, the KPFD contracted with VenuWorks to provide the operations and management of the Convention Center. VenuWorks assisted the Kennewick Public Facilities District with the final development and provided operational input for the Center.
The Three Rivers Convention Center opened its doors on June 19, 2004.
